Enjoy in a different Sinjajevina, while spending time with noble animals
The Sinjajevina mountain massif stretches for 40 kilometers from the southeast to the northwest between Žabljak and Kolašin. In addition, near the mountain there are the famous Durmitor and Biogradska gora National Parks, the Đurđevića Tara Bridge and the Tara River with its world-famous canyon (the deepest in Europe).
Sinjajevina is a true gem of nature and way of life that is significant not only for Montenegro, but also for the whole of Europe. The way of life that is still present in Sinjajevina is very precious in a couple of aspects. First, Sinjajevina is one of the last places where traditional ecological farming still exists in an authentic form and is in balance with the environment. At the same time, Sinjajevina preserves authentic cultural heritage, creates traditional products of outstanding quality that are very important for human health, and also ensures the survival and improvement of biodiversity, which is dependent on traditional animal husbandry practices. Sinjajevina is also a jewel of culture and national identity that must be protected and promoted.
Departure at 9 a.m. at the estate, brief overview of the day, familiarization with the basics of riding.
Horse riding through the forested area of Sinjajevina over the Gacko hill to Katunic hill, where the first break is. Enjoying the beautiful view, perfect for taking photos. Acquaintance with various types of teas in this area and the method of collection. Picking teas for one hour. Refreshment.
Continuation of the road to Katun, which is about an hour's ride away. Arrival in katun around 13:00, preparing the horses, drinking at the springs. Arriving at the hut, where a traditional lunch awaits us (pie, homemade sour milk and meat in the peasant way).
Rest break. Getting to know the types of tea in this area, picking. Return to the hut.
Afternoon program: introduction to national costume, photo shoot in national costume, photo shoot on horses if desired, presentation of customs.
Return to the estate on horseback in the late afternoon. It is possible to organize a handmade jewelry workshop with the use of epic resin and dried herbs from the environment.
